Why are my lights cloudy, yellow, oxidized, etc., in the first place?
Lenses are originally treated with a UV coating during the manufacturing process but UV exposure, heat, salt, chemicals, etc., eventually break down the coating. This leaves a dull, yellow, or rough surface that significantly blocks light output.
What services do you offer?
Four different services are available to fit your budget and durability needs. Level I is specific for minor/beginning stages of cloudiness. Level II is recommended for advanced cloudiness without a warranty (trading in/selling soon). Level III and IV are for those wanting long term durability. Please call or text to discuss what might best fit your need.
Is a restoration kit from the store the same?
Unfortunately, no. Many of these kits don't include any type of long-term protection. Lenses look great until the wax wears off and you're back to covering up the damage again (and again...and again). Secondly, if used incorrectly, you can induce severe scratches making them WORSE! In fact, many customers call to have them fixed.
What about that "liquid restorer" infomercial?
Consumers should be cautious of products claiming to "instantly" and "effortlessly" reverse years of damage. These liquid restorers merely "fill in" what little damage they can for a very short period. The majority of consumer reviews of these products tend to be negative as well.
What kind of damage can/can't be removed?
Yellowing, cloudiness, paint over-spray, scuffs, chemical/bug stains, and light/moderate scratches can be removed. Rock chips, gouges, cracks, or condensation cannot be repaired. Please browse the photo gallery to see typical damage removed.
Will my lights have to be removed?
No. All work is performed on the vehicle but if you have spare lenses already off of the vehicle, we're happy to restore them with a quick turnaround time.
Can you refinish tail lights, fog lights, and side markers?
Absolutely!
How long does your process normally take?
About 30 to 90 minutes for pair of lenses, depending on the level of restoration and vehicle.
What is the best way to keep my lenses looking new?
We provide maintenance tips to extend the durability of your lights.
